BSI-1 is a microprocessor based integrator that receives the signals from the weighbridge loadcell and belt speed tachometer. It calculates the rate material is moving on the belt (TPH) and the total amount of material that has traveled on the belt in tons or tonnes, as calibrated. It outputs totalization pulses for driving remote counters and indicates rate to remote units via linear 4-20 ma or 0-20 current loop signal. The rate signal can be digitally delayed, in one second selectable steps, up to 5 minutes.
If increasing the role of automation in your process is essential to improving your productivity, you are probably already exploring smarter machines and faster, more versatile networks. Different, yet intuitively familiar for even the least experienced operators. The 920i® is truly the first of its kind to blend revolutionary user interfaces, total flexibility and ultimate processing performance with the simplicity of a basic weight meter. We have taken the best features from weight instruments, PLCs and computers and added more robust electronics, a crisp graphical display and programmable softkeys. Put it all together inside a virtually indestructible enclosure and you have one of the most advanced HMIs the industry has ever seen. Adding an entirely new dimension in flexibility for solution providers and users alike, the 920i® delivers simplified customization at a fraction of the cost of traditional process instrumentation. From tailored “basic” weighing, to complex process automation, the 920i® gives you exactly what you need, exactly the way you want it.
Scales need to be calibrated at regular intervals, which requires certified test weight. Apple Valley Scale Company uses certified test weights traceable to NIST. New test weights can also be purchased or rented. Apple Valley Scale Company can supply a large variety of test weights, ranging in classification from Class 1 to Class F.
A commercial scale is any scale used for buying or selling product. When commercial scales are out of calibration, someone loses—either the seller is giving away product, or the buyer is not getting what he is paying for. For this reason, commercial scales should be checked for accuracy and calibrated every 6 months or yearly, depending on volume of use.
You can count on Apple Valley Scale Company to meet all your repair and calibration needs. We offer our customers scale repair that is unparalleled. Our quality scale repair services are completed by highly-skilled and knowledgeable technicians who are factory-trained and field-experienced.
Our reputation continues to grow due to our excellent service, dependability, and professionalism. Let us know how we can help you!
